Engineering graduate Peter Schröck, a mechanical engineer, founded UNIFLEX-Hydraulik GmbH in Frankfurt/Main in 1972. The company was a success from the very beginning, and its commitment to innovation and the exceptional quality of its products meant that it had soon become one of the world's leading suppliers of machines for the manufacture of hose assemblies.
UNIFLEX Hydraulik GmbH became part of the Freiherren Waitz Group in 1992, and has grown steadily ever since. 1996 saw the company move to a new, larger office and production premises in Karben, 10 km north of Frankfurt. The subsidiary UNIFLEX of America LLC has been operating since 1998, and is now looking after the company's interests in the North American markets from its headquarters in Mokena, Illinois. UNIFLEX Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. opened its office in Singapore in June 2004 and since 2008 we are represented also in Shanghai (China) with the company UNIFLEX Hydraulik Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. These business unit takes care of our Asian customers now.
Since July 2011 we hold a majority interest in the manufacturing company Unijoin Machinery Co., Ltd. in Shanghai.
With more than 30 years experience in this specialist field, UNIFLEX Hydraulik is now the innovative system supplier for all tube and hose manufacturing needs - from workshop equipment to production line. In close collaboration with leading hydraulic hose & tubing makers, the company continues to do what it has always excelled at: developing innovative and reliable cutters, presses, test equipment, software and cleaning tools, and selling them to a global market.
