Although originating from industry, agriculture and forestry are important pillars of the family business. After the coal and clay mining operations were shut down in 2003, the family's agricultural and forestry operations in Germany and abroad are now the focus of the Raw Materials Business Unit.

Forestry

The Emmerichshofen forest has been family owned since the 19th century. It offers a wide range of beech, oak, pine and spruce timber, both as logs and in cuttings and as industrial timber.

Agriculture

The Winterbüren and Waitzrodt estates have been family-owned for over 200 years. Both estates are used for agriculture and forestry. Together with leased land, we farm about 900 hectares.
